York-Poquoson Burglary Arrest

On 01-13-09 Deputies and Sheriff’s Office Investigators arrested 4 suspects in connection with a Burglary that occurred in the 100 block of Jara Lane located in the Tabb area of York County this same day at approximately 2:00 PM. When the Burglary call came in and was dispatched, alert
deputies stopped a suspicious vehicle that was seen in the area.

Upon stopping the vehicle numerous undisclosed stolen items from the Burglary were located. Arrested was Jean Toussaint, Jr. who is an
18 year old male of the 100 block of Jenness Drive in Newport News. Tamaron Green an 18 year old female who lives in the 100 block of St. Stephens Drive in Newport News.

Two Juvenile males 15 and 17 years of age were also arrested. All suspects were charged with Burglary, Conspiracy to Commit Burglary and Grand Larceny. The two adults were each additionally charged with 2 counts
of Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor. Additional charges may be pending as the investigation continues.

Items Stolen 300 block of Bridge Crossing

The York – Poquoson Sheriffs Office needs information on the following crimes.
Sometime unknown during the night unknown suspect(s) stole undisclosed items from a
car parked in the area of the 300 block of Bridge Crossing in Burnt Bridge Run in
Yorktown. This same evening another vehicle was entered and other items were stolen
from a vehicle in the 800 block of Wormley Creek in Yorktown. This vehicle was
unlocked as well.

Graffiti at Grafton High School

The York- Poquoson Sheriffs Office needs information on the following crimes. Sometime unknown between 06-01-08 and 06-02-08 some unknown person(s) spray painted vulgar graffiti on several exterior locations at Grafton high school. The damage is in excess of $3000.00. This was not gang graffiti.

Someone may have information even if it doesn’t seem important that will assist your law enforcement officers in bringing these people to justice. Can you help?
