On February 13 2008, between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 12:00 P.M. an individual trespassed on a residence and pried opened a locked gate. The gate was pried open with the lock in the closed position. This criminal activity has happened on numerous occasions in the Landstown Lakes area of Virginia Beach. It is believed this is the same individual observed trespassing in the resident’s backyard on another occasion. The miscreant is described as a white male approximately 6 feet to 6 feet 2 inches with a goatee.

On February 21 2010, at approximately 5:10PM, a teenager was observed running onto a property with a grey religious statue with another individual running behind him. They ran to the side of the house, dropped off the statue and left. Police responded.
The first teenager, described as white, six feet tall with curly black hair is the same suspect in some vandalism cases. The second teenager is described as heavyset with dark skin, approximately 5ft 5in. Should you have any information regarding this individual or the statues, please contact the police. The owner of the statue may contact the police to recover their property.

Between the hours of 6:00 P.M. on January 1st 2009 and 11:00 A.M. January 2nd, a vehicle was vandalized in the 3100 blk of Monet Dr. Suspects are described as four unsupervised teenagers between the age of 13 and 15. One is white male approximately 5′ 8” with wavy/ curly black hair. It is believed that his father is a Master Chief in the Navy.
Additionally this male teenager has been observed eating candy and drinking cokes for breakfast and on occasion, was observed throwing garbage on a resident’s property, then jumping on the on the garbage. Another suspect is described as white, very short with short hair. He has shown himself to be disrespectful to neighborhood parents. It is believed that one of his parents is in the Navy. Additionally there was a white female approximately 5′ 6” long blond hair and another female 5′ 5″ with brown hair.
This group of unsupervised teenagers is also suspected of participating in or having knowledge of other acts of vandalism on Monet Dr. Additionally, this group of teenagers has been observed standing around on the street for hours before the vandalism occurs and the damage discovered the next day.

On Thursday, September 18, 2009 at approximately 6:00 p.m., the victim responded to the Third Police Precinct in the 900 block of Independence Blvd. to report that he was robbed.
Police learned that the victim was walking home from work on September 17, 2009 at approximately 3:15 p.m. when a vehicle approached him and the front seat passenger displayed a handgun. The vehicle was occupied by three suspects who robbed the victim of money and his ATM card.

The victim’s ATM card was used by an individual, possibly one of the suspects, at a local Automated Teller Machine several hours after the robbery. A surveillance photo of the individual is available.
The driver of the vehicle is described as black male, approximately 20-25 years old, with low cut hair, dark skin, and a heavy build.
The front seat passenger of the car is described as a black male in his mid to late thirties, with low cut hair, chin strap beard, and a “beer belly.” He was armed with a black framed handgun.
The back seat passenger is described as a black male, 19- 20 years of age, armed with a black framed handgun.
On Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at approximately 1:20 a.m., Emergency Communications received a call for a robbery at the BP gas store located in the 3000 block of Holland Rd., near the intersection of Dam Neck Rd., in the City of Virginia Beach.
Police responded to the scene and spoke with the two clerks. One clerk stated that the suspect approached the counter, displayed a knife, and ordered him to open the cash drawer. The second clerk came from the back room and startled the suspect. The suspect struck the clerk and fled the store on foot without obtaining any money. The clerk was treated at the scene for minor injuries to the face.
The suspect is described as black male, eighteen to twenty-five years old, 5’09” to 6’00” tall and a thin build. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with the hood pulled up, dark pants, black gloves, a mask covering the lower portion of his face, and a Toronto Blue Jays baseball cap. He was armed with a knife.

On 8/31/09 from 1015am-330pm in the 2000 block of Meadow Crest Way (Bellwood Meadows). Victim’s daughter returned home and found the house ransacked, property missing and found the family cat with a knife stuck in it. The victim took the cat to the vet and then returned home and called the police. A neighbor stated she had a B/M; 19-20 years come to her door asking if she wanted to buy insurance. She felt it was odd due to his disheveled appearance. Another neighbor stated he saw a B/M/Hispanic male sitting on his neighbor’s steps texting.

On 08/19/09 in the early morning hours a vehicle was stolen from the 5800 block of Newtown Arch. The victim parked her vehicle in front of her apartment at 12:00am and discovered it missing the next morning. There was also an attempt Theft of a vehicle on the same block, during the same time. The vehicle missing is a 1996 Green Jeep Cherokee.
