Vision Security, LLC Complaint and Scams
Beware of a salesman working for Vision Security, LLC - a home security company. After he was asked to leave a property, he did not comply until the owner walked towards him. The salesman came on the property and started asking personal questions while on that property and would not stop even though he was asked to leave. He is described as 5′ 7″, black hair, and “preppy” look with glasses. He had a blue shirt that had “Vision” written on the shirt.
Never give out personal information to strangers and call the police if you do not feel comfortable or they use aggressive tactics or will not leave your property.
Addendum
The Virginia Beach City Attorney’s Office has made additional information about Vision Security’s sales practices or any other company that uses aggressive sales tactics. Should there be a concern about the sales person’s behavior, ask for their name and license number. Additionally, if you asked them to leave your property, and they do not, that is considered trespassing – call the police.
Virginia Beach Police are here to help; please let them do their job. They have been notified of Visions Security’s aggressive sales practice. An additional note is that Vision Security does not have an office in Virginia Beach or Hampton Roads for that matter.

a man came to our door last night who claimed he was a rep. from this company as well. he had no literature to leave when we asked him to. no brochure, no business card, nothing. he just wrote down the website address(chicken scratch) and told us to look it up. unbelievable!
