Give them until the 21st of the month to correct the issues. Make sure that you send these letters certified mail with return receipt. If problems are not corrected by the 22nd of the month send them a second notice stating that the problems have not been corrected and that you intend on putting their monthly rent into escrow at the local courthouse. I speak from experience and this does work. Once the money is put into escrow then great atlantic has to prove to the court that the problems have been corrected. Also it helps to have a written log of when and who you talked to about your problems and pictures to show to the court. This does work very well. If enough people/tenants get together then a message will be conveyed. Also if you have things like rodents you can request in the letter to be placed in another apartment or hotel until the problem is corrected at the expense of the great atlantic. We have spoken to them on countless occasions and they said to bomb, we did, Nothing. Absolutely nothing, everyone in my home is staying sick for one reason or another and I was told it was the bugs, there every where, in our cloths, our bedding, closets, you name it and there there. I have tried to find out if there was anything legally we could do, I can't find any answers. This sucks.
