On January 28, 2009, at approximately 8:30 p.m., the Hampton Police Division received a
complaint of a shooting victim in the 100 block of W. Pembroke Avenue. Officers along
with the Hampton Fire and Rescue Division responded to the scene and located a 16-year old Hampton juvenile suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot wound. The victim
was transported to a local hospital where he was treated for his injuries and released.

At approximately 8:40 p.m., Hampton Police received another complaint of two victims
who just arrived at a local hospital also suffering from gunshot wounds. A 17-year-old
Hampton juvenile is currently in surgery and an 18-year-old Hampton male who is being
treated for non-life threatening injuries.

The investigation is still ongoing and further information will be released when it becomes
available.
